Chung Mu Singing Contest

On November 21, 2012 and November 23, 2012, my school held it's annual singing contest. On Wednesday, each class from each grade performed a song chosen by their homeroom teachers. I, along with other teachers, judged each class. We then chose 2 classes from each grade for the finals on Friday. A play, flute playing, and other performances were also included. On Friday, the gym (where performances are typically held in Korean schools) was decorated, and cameras were brought in to record the performance. The singing performances for the contest were alright, but the best performances were those that the students chose for themselves. For me, some parts were hilarious, while others were just hard to understand due to the language and cultural barriers. lol. Overall, I enjoyed the contest. I was able to see some of my students in a different light, as they displayed talents I did not know that they had! Below, I have some highlights from the shows!
